She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Travis; and her sisters, Peggy Gross and Alma Partin. She is survived by: her children, Judy Ann Travis (Anthony James), Mary Jane Regan (David Regan), Carla Marie "Pewee" Boykin (Charles Boykin) and Beverly T. Fish; her brother Fred Allen Jr. (Gloria); and her grandchildren, Samantha Thaggard (Andy), Kimberly Wilson, Ashley Watts (Brian) and Daniel McKenzie (Lana). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (4923 Mt Vernon Rd, Liberty, MS 39645). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
