He is survived by: his parents, Jackie Lee Scarbrough and Grace Elizabeth Bennett (Wright); his wife Mary Alice Scarbrough; his children, Chad Spears, Brandon Spears, Lee Scarbrough, Matthew Scarbrough and Shelby McKelvain (Dustin); his siblings, Wade E. McElhenney (Laurene), Linda K. Tucker (Jamie), Carolyn J. Fuller (Ronnie) and Tina M. Kimbriel (Tony); his uncle Ken Stephens; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Riley Jewel McKelvain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
