James Westmoreland Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of James Westmoreland of Long Beach, Mississippi. James, born on March 15, 1956, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanita Westmoreland and Tom Westmoreland (Stella Mae Westmoreland); his grandparents, Pallie Westmoreland, T. L. Westmoreland, Bessie and John Wickham; and his son Michael "Mick" Dailey.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Cupp Westmoreland; his daughter Jena Westmoreland (Jeremiah Stennett); his siblings, John Westmoreland (Kay) and Lanette Howard; and his grandchildren, Joseph "Van" Stennett, Hazle Stennett, Stella Jaymes Stennett and Lydia Stennett.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home (19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503).
