He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones and Clarine Jones; his children, Tabitha Bama Jones and Joseph Lee Jones; and his brother Phillip Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McQueen "Becky" Jones; his daughters, Kimberly Jones Bonner and April Jones Smith; his grandchildren, Jack Thompson, Ashley Thompson Moore, Katie Crace, Alexander Fischer and Khristin Woessner; his great grandchildren, Silas and Skylar Carlisle; and his siblings, Arnold Jones, Dixie Jones Snowden, Alice Jones Hall and Rita Jones Seals.
Donations to veteran charities or potted plants are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
