He is survived by: his children, Stephen "Steve" Saunders of Long Beach and Bonita Saunders of Long Beach; his siblings, Roger Saunders (Ann) of Indiana, Bertha Lee Ragsdale (Larry) of Indiana and Carol Weatherly of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Michelle Saunders Simek (Joe) of Pass Christian, Kerry Saunders of Illinois, Jim Saunders of Illinois, Stephanie Saunders of Indiana and Melissa Saunders of Illinois; his great grandchildren, McKenna Curlee Orick (David), Brayden Hanson (Laura), Maysa Hanson, Austin Simek (Carleigh), Nick Simek and Rachael Simek Taylor (Seth); and his great great grandchildren, Bayne Hanson, Luca Hanson, Pax Orick, Avalynn Simek and Alaina Taylor.
