He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Russell and Mary Jane Russell; and his siblings, Brenda Page, Barbara Smith and Charles Russell.

He is survived by : his wife Beverly Russell; his children, Anthony Russell and Jennifer Russell; his grandson Jonah Russell; and his siblings, Linda Haley, Reba Page (George), Nathan Russell (Virginia), Gail Knight (Jimmy) and Kathy Reagan (Ronnie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home - Gulfport (11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Gulf Pines Cemetery (19361 28th St, Long Beach, MS 39560).
