She was predeceased by: her parents, Mertice Parmer Smith and James Preston Parmer; her stepfather Thomas Wesley Smith; and her husband Don Cowman. She is survived by: her son Joshua Cowman (Tiffany); her granddaughter Felicity; her siblings, Beverly Carver (Bruce) and Larry Parmer (Kay); and her nieces and nephews, Scooter Carver (Denise), Kelli Carver and Larri Fagan (Joey).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home - Long Beach (19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560). A prayer was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Long Beach City Cemetery E 1st (217-107 Girard Ave, Long Beach, MS 39560).
