He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hunter; his children, Monica Allen (Jimmy), Bridget Hunter, Levi Huffman, Brittney Hunter (Clifford Nettles) and Brianna Hunter (Dylan Asher); his grandchildren, Arieonna Fox (Austin), Kathan Allen (Morgan Evans), Shyla Allen, Crisslyn Lummus, Christina Huffman, Jeree Huffman, Kai Wayne Hoang, Lee Joseph Hoang, Clifford Lavon Nettles, Courage Lee Nettles, Barrett Asher and Mazie Asher; his great grandchildren, Jaxstin Bourg, Archie Fox and Sailor Allen; and his siblings, Paula Jewell, Judy Magee (Doyle) and Terry Hunter.
His generosity extended to those in need, as he was a proud supporter of the St. Jude Dream Day Foundation, organizing annual fundraisers that raised significant amounts of money for children.
