He was predeceased by : his wife Eleanor Dianne Gardner; his daughter Donna Marie Shelton; his parents, Hartsell Gardner and Rellie Fender Peek; his siblings, Donald Gardner, Irene Clements and Marie Cody; and his granddaughter Meagan Ann Gardner.
He is survived by : his children, Clyde Gardner, Jr. (Shelly), Philip Gardner (Sharon), June Elaine Shelton (Phil), Michelle Lunsford (Boyce), Alicia Easterling (Robbie) and Katie Gardner; and his siblings, Gordon Peek, Lora Honeycutt and Patricia Wallin. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
