She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferman R. Gregory, Sr. and Maggie Eliza McNeil Gregory; her husband Jack Montgomery; her son Anthony Montgomery; her son-in-law Charlie D. "Chuck" Howell; and her siblings, Ruth Green, Lucille Evans, Maudie Rivers, Olean Gregory, Haskell Gregory, Ferman Gregory, Jr. and S. D. Gregory.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Montgomery Howell of Stateville, NC; her daughter-in-law Denise Montgomery; her grandchildren, Ryan Howell (Melony), Tim Howell, Dustin Howell (Crystal) and Nina Montgomery Weissinger (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Austin Howell, Kaylee Howell, Hannah Howell, Hazle Weissinger, Paisley Weissinger and Kennedy Weissinger.
