She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Campbell and Bessie Irene Barlow; and her husband James Allen. She is survived by: her children, Shedret Whitehead, Guzel A. Dempsey, Chris Dempsey, James Allen III, Nelson Dempsey, Maurice Dempsey, Norma Holder, Georgian Dempsey, Bethine Dempsey and Charlotte Dempsey. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews as well as other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Community Center M. B. Church (1771 County Rd 16, Louin, MS 39338).
