She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Spiva and L. V. Wylie Shaw; and her brothers, Ray "Bo" Shaw, James Curtis Shaw and Spiva Shaw.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Shaw of Louisville and Kathleen Shaw Nowell of Ridgeland, MS. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
