He was predeceased by: his mother Anne Louise Forester (McKay); his father-in-law Ernest Forester; his brother William Ralph Paty, Jr. (Bill); and his daughter Catherine. He is survived by: his father William Ralph Paty, Sr.; his wife Janice Burt Paty (Burt); his sister Janet Jackson; his nephews, Mike, David and Bill; his niece Anne; his great-niece Marie; his daughter Sharon Monar (Curtis); his grandchildren, Kayci and Jake; his great grandchildren, Dawson and Campbell; Dorothy Paty and Jayne.
