He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lee and Marteen Brock Fortune; and his brother Benny Fortune. He is survived by: his wife Linda Drury Fortune; his children, Jeff Fortune, Chad Fortune, Tyawanna Fortune (Jeff) and Ann Fortune (Chad); his grandchildren, Andrew Fortune (Raven Bane-Fortune), Delaney Guy (Stephen), Hunter Goodin (Jessica), Jessica Fortune (Alena Jones-Fortune), David Fortune (Joleigh Pickel) and Abigail Fortune; his daughter Ruby Dean Carter; and his siblings, Betty Newsome, Patricia McDonald and Chris Fortune (Tonya). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
