He was predeceased by: his son Steven Patrick "Sarge" Sheldon; and his parents, Carolyn Sheldon and Warren Sheldon. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cadmus Sheldon; his daughter-in-law Sue Sheldon; his grandson Steven Tyler Sheldon of Louisville; and his extended family, J. R., Angela Sloan, Scott and Dixi Kohrs.
The family would prefer no flowers. Memorials in Don's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
