He is survived by: his wife Wanda Romedy; his children, Matthew Sims (Melanie) and Kayla Romedy Stone (Stephen); his grandchildren, Presley Sims and Scarlett Stone; and his sisters, Clytee Romedy and Bonita Furr. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends, coworkers.

A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery (445 Giffin Rd, Louisville, MS 39339).
