He is survived by: his wife Geneva Buck Townsend of Louisville; his children, Thomas Townsend (Kay) of Louisville, MS and Jerri Cutlip of Blue Springs, MS; his sister-in-law Ruby Townsend of Philadephia, MS; and his grandchildren, Chad Townsend (Megan), Matthew Cutlip, Beka Townsend and Darrion Wesley. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
