He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Alyne and John Edward Winans; and his siblings, Joel Edward "Eddie Joe" Winans and Mary Louise Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Diane Winans of Noxapater; his children, Patrick Winans (Monica) of Hernando and Allison Catchot (James) of Ackerman, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Allen Landrum, Noah Catchot, Olivia and Claire Winans; and his brother-in-law Ed Simmons. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
