He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Pearson and Pauline Miller Pearson; his brothers, Terry, Jack and Scott; and his father-in-law Tommy Price.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Price Pearson; his children, Bruce Pearson (Wanda) of Fort Myers, Tyler Pearson (Carissa) of Atoka, Oklahoma and Nikki Reed (Justin) of Tupelo; his sister Paula Bane of Louisville; his mother-in-law Charlene Price of Louisville; and his brothers-in-law, Joel Price (Virginia) of Brandon and Kevin Price (Ashlie) of Louisville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
