She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Jane and Floyd Wesley Hunt; her husbands, Billy Hemphill and Monie Phillips, Jr.; her daughter Sandra Rogers Foster; her grandson Robert Rogers (Bob); and her brother Douglas Hunt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Carter (Billy) of Louisville and Teressa Huntley (Michael) of Brandon, MS; her sister Nell Shaw Cumberland of Philadelphia, MS; her sister-in-law Jamie Redmond; her grandchildren, Brian Rogers (Katherine), Jonathan Rogers, Austin Foster (Dakota), Michael Carter (Claire), Sarah Donald (Wesley), Jacob Carter (Morgan), Rodney Lee Smith, Dillon Huntley (Samantha) and Stephen Huntley; and her stepsons, Monie Phillips, III of Florida, Marty Aaron Phillips of Lena, MS and Monie Jason Phillips of Texas. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
