He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruthie Mae Goss and Tom Davis; his child Latanya Braswell; and his siblings, Mae Miller, Belzonia Davis and Annie J. Washington.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Braswell and Michelle Braswell; and his sisters, Sara Mustin, Maggie Haynes and Vivian Marie Shield (Joe Lee Davis). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
