He is survived by: his wife Mae Bell Eiland; his children, Lucy Triplett (Chester) of Louisville, MS., Inez Harrington of Louisville, MS., Dorothy Knowles (Kenneth) of Louisville, MS., Oscar Eiland (Joan) of Louisville, MS., Joy Eiland of Louisville, MS., Lula B. Doss of Arlington Heights, IL., Willie Bernard Eiland of Broadview, IL., Annette Jones (Ronnie) of Plainfield, IL. and Charles Eiland (Darlene) of Chicago, IL; and his close friends, Demp and Joe Jernigan, Jr.. He is also survived by 46 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (206 Pleasant Grove Rd, Louisville, MS 39339).
