She was predeceased by: her husband H. C. Mitchell; her parents, Howard Childs and Jessie Childs; and her daughter-in-law Beth Hall Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Sandy Reves (Dennis) of Madison, MS, Rusty Mitchell (Beth) of Louisville and Randy Mitchell of Helena, AL; her brother Fred Howard Childs of Louisville, MS; her grandchildren, Stephen Mitchell (Jessica), Andrew Mitchell (Lauren), Cooper Reves (Jackie), Peyton Reves, Molly Glisson (Travis) and Ross Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Carter Mitchell, Parker Mitchell, Harrison Reves and Murphy Reves.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
