He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Bennett and Ida Mae Bennett; his daughter Felica Rush; and his siblings, Frankie Johnson, Johnny Bennett, Edna Bennett, William Bennett and Edward Yates.
He is survived by: his children, Zawasky Bennett (Jaquanza) of Philadelphia, MS, Damon Eichelberger (Tiffany) of Meridian, MS., Carnesha Jackson (Brandon) of Pearl, MS and Herbert Bennett of Louisville, MS; his siblings, Christine Coleman of Louisville, MS and Jerry Bennett of Louisville, MS; and his nephew Kerry Bennett (Denise) of Savannah, GA.
