He is survived by: his mother Geneva Hamm Dempsey; his wife Ellen Beckham Dempsey; his son Kenny Wilcher of McCool; his grandchildren, Grace Wilcher of McCool, Jack Wilcher (Seraphina) of Starkville and Alex Watson of Ackerman, Mississippi.; and his siblings, Kathy Johnson of Carthage, Donna Edwards of McCool and Terry Dempsey of McCool. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
