We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 74, Steven A. Miles (Louisville, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Cleo Miles and Dorothy Edwards Miles; his daughter Yancie Marie Miles; and his brother Silas Wesley Miles. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Haimes Miles of Philadelphia, MS; his sons, Michael Miles (Rachel) of Sebastopol, MS, Lenny Miles of Philadelphia, MS and Wesley Miles of Philadelphia, MS; his stepchildren, Cecily Miles Zaffar (Asif) of Philadelphia, MS and Kaitlin Miles of Ackerman, MS; his brothers, Sammy Miles (Gail) and Stanley Miles (Beth); his grandchildren, Evan Miles (Katie), Nina Marie Miles, Morgan Miles, Ian Miles, Declan Miles, Aiden Miles, Latif Zaffar (Sana), Tahira Rae Zaffar, Chloe McMinn, Marshall Miles, Raven Miles, Tanner Miles and Jackson Luke Miles; and his great grandchild Dixie Miles.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home (302 W Park St, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons.
