It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abner Gibson of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Bugg Gibson; his parents, Thomas J. Gibson and Irene Hollaman Gibson; and his siblings, T. J. Gibson and Betty Strahan.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shelia Dueitt, Kelly Hubbard (Doug) and Vicki Smith (Brian); his grandchildren, Bradley Miller, Brianna Smith, Abigail Hubbard, Lilykate Hubbard and Canyon Smith; his great grandchild Annie Miller; and his sisters, Mable Wiggins, Beatrice Hudson (B. J.) and Lorena Clark.
