It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Weaver of Lucedale, Mississippi, born in Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fagan Cooley and Leander Cooley (Lofton); her husband Omie Weaver; her daughter Theresa Ann Godino; and her siblings, MacArthur Cooley and Ruby McInniss.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Jean Flores (Tony) and Kathleen Harvison; and her sister Elizabeth Williams. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
