He was predeceased by: his son Barry Allister Smith; his parents, John Almie and Minnie Lee Goff Smith; and his siblings, Vermell Cronier (Herman), John Dickerson (Lila) and Peggy Chapman (Charlie).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Howell Smith; his children, Charlene Harris (Keith) and Brian Smith (Vicki); his grandchildren, Katie Harris, Jenna White (Garrett), Brianna Smith and Canyon Smith; his great grandchildren, Peter White and Julia White; and his sister Wanda Draime. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
