With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Smith Epps (Lucedale, Mississippi), who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Marland Riddell Smith; her siblings, Ronnie Dell Smith, Deborah Tidwell and Marland Dewayne Smith; and her grandparents, Silas, Kathleen Koonce, D. D. and Nettie Smith.
She is survived by: her husband David Epps Sr.; her children, Jeremy Dunbar, Jason Epps, Tera Parish and David Epps Jr.; her mother Eula Mae Denmark (Ronnie); and her sisters, Faye Goff and Angela Dodson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
