He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus Leroy Cook and Fannie Bell Conner Cook. He is survived by: his wife Virginia B. Cook; his daughters, Kimberly Cook Whittington (Chuck) and Sonya Cook Moon (Ralph); his grandchildren, Savannah Whittington, Chipper Whittington (Brittney) and Carson Moon; and his sister Jean Hayden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barton Baptist Church (2202 Hwy 63 S, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
