He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Fowler Mizell; and his parents, David W. "Monkey" Mizell and Myrtis Mizell. He is survived by: his children, Tracie Mizell, Amy Doucet (David), Lydia O'Connor (Benjamin) and Jeff Mizell; his grandchildren, Hannah, Derek, Kaitlyn, Layla, Stella, Maya and Adalyn; his great grandchildren, Tory, Kaiden and Cheyanna; and his siblings, Lavelle McGalliard (Reggie), Beverly Cottingham (Ronnie), Peggy Miller (Robert), Randy Mizell (Beth) and Jimmie Mizell (Sandi). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
