With sadness, we share the passing of Dean Tanner of Lucedale, Mississippi. Dean, born on February 8, 1930, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Tanner and Bernice Tanner; and his sisters, Delores Thornburg, Jauice Carnley and Lolette Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Tanner; his children, Leigh Anne Gray (Gary) and Paul Tanner; and his grandchildren, Jason Gray, Matthew Gray, Shelby Seal, Jeremy Shepherd, Weston Shepherd, Wesley Tanner, Dustin Tanner and Brent Tanner. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sigler Funeral Home (4248 Main St, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
