Donald Wayne Baxter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Wayne Baxter of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie T. Baxter and Sally H. Phillips; and his sister Patricia Dianne Baxter. He is survived by: his sisters, Charlotte Joiner (Bruce) and Gwyndolin Goff; his nieces, Shannon Pelman (Mike), Suzy Crutcher (Danny), Rhonda Borne (Darrin), Sarah Crisler (Aaron) and Rachel Hare; his nephew William J. Joiner; his close friend Jimmy Smith; his caregivers, Felicia Keys, Carolyn Williams and Jane Owens; his close friends, Dave Taylor and Mary Stainton; and also, Don and Brenda Housley. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the project fund at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26, Lucedale, MS 39452.
