We announce the death of Dorothy Jean Clark of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 85. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Morris Wiggins and Vernetta Bell Sledge; her husband Jerry Leroy Clark; her son Malcolm Clark; and her sisters, Regina Eubanks and Maria Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, John Clark (Kristie), Dennis Clark and Kenny Clark (Nicki); her daughter-in-law Cindy Bishop; her siblings, Joye Jackson, Connie Purvis (Earl), Gerald Wiggins (Edna), Arvis Wiggins (Synithia) and Bill Sharbrough; and her grandchildren, Clifton Clark (Kasey), Kristina Pritchett (David), Lancer Clark (Emily), Jamie Clark, Erika Clark Donndelinger (Claudio), Christopher Morman (Jamie), Jeremy Clark (Malorie), Jessica Gagnon, Josh Clark (Madison), Keisha McLendon (Jon), Kandyce Clark (Brittany), Kaitlyn McQueen (DJ), Jordan Steele (Jessica) and Justin Steele (Libby). She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dotsy's honor to the Backpack Buddies Ministry at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 2165 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS 39452.
