He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jack; his son Edwin "Bo" Nix (Chantilla); his stepson Dominic Nix Ellis; his siblings, Mae Jack, Eunice Jack, Joyce Jack and Ceaser Jack (Sandra); his grandchildren, Taylor Nix, Hannah Nix and Roderick Ellis; his great grandchild Elania Nix; and his close friends, Joe Phillips and Fletcher Broadnax. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
