She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther L. Hinton and Florence Jones Hinton; her husband J. D. "Demp" Cauley; her son Rocky Cauley; and her sisters, Nadine Sanders, Rachael Scarbrough and Marge Cauley.

She is survived by: her brothers, Tom Hinton and Luther H. "Buck" Hinton; her sons, Steven Michael Cauley (Tena) and Dempsey Earl Cauley (Jerri Ann); her daughter-in-law Sharon Cauley; her siblings, Charles Hinton, Ben Hinton, Wayne Hinton, Vera Ann Pierce, Lillie Mae Sanderson and Gay Jones; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Lynn Mitchan (Joe), Jonathan Cauley (Jeannie), Christy Currie (Jonathan), Debbie Mclallen (J. R.), Bart Cauley (Deanna), Scott Cauley (Wendy), Adrian Bragg (Travis), Amanda Walters (Chad), Jeremy Cauley (Jessica), Jacob Cauley and Rusty Cauley.
