He was predeceased by: his father Jerald Brannan; and his grandparents, Clyde, Aniece Gartman, Keith and Harriet Brannan.
He is survived by: his mother Dianne McClure (James); his children, Justin Brannan (Allison), Carrie Hoven (Caleb) and Samantha Clark (Braxton); his close friend Greta DeVaughn; his grandchildren, Blakely Randall, Daithan Hoven and Paul Wayne Clark; his sisters, Paige McClure, Jacqueline Cochran (Tony) and Jessica Finch (Keith); his nieces and nephews, Tyler Holifield (Leah), Tori Bradley (Jacob), Maddie Finch, Conner Dunlap (Mackenzie), Mason Cochran, Tucker Cochran, Evan Cochran and Camden Cochran; and his great-nephews, Turner Holifield and Reid Dunlap.
