He was predeceased by: his parents, Cephus Taylor and Aznet Jones; his sons, Rafael Taylor and Joseph Brown; and his sisters, Shelia James and Frankie Fairley.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Taylor; his children, Tony Taylor (Mary), Jimmie Taylor (Sarah), Eric Brown, Sr. (Beverly), Alvin Millender, Pheobe Dock (Zenith), Stephanie Wright (David), Barbara Coleman (Henry) and Carol Biggs; his brothers, Rev. Clayborn Taylor (Faye) and Atre James; his son Dominic Alexander; his goddaughter Harmonee Silas; his brother-in-law Charles Fairley, Sr.; and his friends, Sean Watson and Jerome Lett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
