He was predeceased by: his parents, John Webb and Christine Hempstead; his mother-in-law Mary Evelyn Whatley; and his great grandchild Camille Smith. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hempstead; his children, Bradley Jones (Christie), Crystal Morgan (Brad) and Chase Hempstead (Kelsea); his grandchildren, Landon Smith (Baylen), Will Jones, Cole Pugh, Dawson Dye, Lauren Morgan, Drake Bond, Isabelle Hempstead and Asher Hempstead; and his siblings, Gail Jones (Scott), Theresa Foster (John Henry) and Tim Hempstead (Connie). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moments Funeral Home (7158 MS-63, Lucedale, MS 39452). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
