She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Theodore Johnson and Litha Courtney Johnson; and her siblings, Doris Jeanette Johnson, Rueben Johnson, Wylie Johnson Jr. and Richard Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, John David Vete (Niese), Frank Eugene Vete (Deanna) and Richard Samuel Vete (Kathy); her grandchildren, Holly Nicole Rescott (Joe), Stephen Daryl Vete (Beka), Frank Easton Vete, Samantha Joyce Vete, John Cesrae'Vete (Lauren), Rebecca Danielle Vete (Tony), Devin Vete (Antiea), Carey Prine (Cliff), Jada Vete, Chris Vete (Christa), Ashley Williams (Casey) and Ronnie Hudson; and also, Ron Vete (Sandy) and Jan Vete Moore. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moments Funeral Home (7158 MS-63, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
