She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Gary Sutherland Jr. and Cora Alice Sutherland; and her sister Mary S. Tatum. She is survived by: her friend Bunny Tanner; and her siblings, Jane O'Connell (Joseph), Dan Sutherland (Vivian) and Amy Miller (Danny). She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Movella Missionary Baptist Church.
