With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lettie Purcell of Lucedale, Mississippi, born in Leakesville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Torrance Lee and Lettie Eunice Denmark (Gibson); her husband Kenneth Guy Purcell; her daughter Pam Dapra; and her siblings, Carson Denmark, Ed Denmark, Harvey Denmark and Tressie Jordan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Johnson (Scott) and Kim Marsh; her grandchildren, Scotty Johnson, Charlie Brooke Johnson, Melissa Miles (Scott), Shannon O'Neal (Ellis), Anndrea Marsh and Matthew Dapra; her great grandchildren, Gavin Miles, Kaya Miles, Brody Miles and Finley O'Neal; and her siblings, Janice Holland, Mahlon Denmark (Eloise), Carl Denmark Sr. (Vickey), Ralph Denmark (Katherine) and Ronnie Denmark (Eula).
