She was predeceased by: her husband Doc Mizell; her parents, Homer Creel and Ludie Creel; her sisters, Lucille Creel Davis Cochran, Martha Bell Smith and Shelly Jean Holland (Homer Dean Creel Boulnea); and her stepchildren, Merlin Mizell, Annie Lee Rouse and Doris Jean Parazine.
She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Mizell (Pam) and Homer Eugine Mizell; and her sister Doris Rogers. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
