He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Peavey and Evelyn Peavey; and his sister Linda Sanford. He is survived by: his wife Evie Bates Peavey; his children, Tammie Smith (Fred) of Florida, Mark Peavey of Texas, Angela Nunley (Steve) of New York, Shawn Sadler of Wiggins and Daniel Sadler (Taylor) of Missouri; and his caregivers, Cassidy Carew and Latisha Stevens. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child through Riverside Full Gospel Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
