As Martha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martha leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Dixon; her parents, Coya Stringfellow and Merlee Eubanks Stringfellow; and her siblings, Emelie Dixon, Joseph Stringfellow, Colleen Campbell and Norita Delgado.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Dickerson (Phillip); her grandchildren, Courtney Dickerson (Hunter Buchannan), Alexis Dickerson (Ben Williamson) and Raylan Dickerson; and her great grandchild Alex Dickerson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Benndale (10265 MS-57, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
