She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Andy Fortner and Earnestine Daniels Morris; and her siblings, Wayne Fortner, Earnie Fortner and Nancy Hamilton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Felicia Wilson and Christine Wilson; her grandson Charles Jessie, III; and her siblings, Ray Fortner, Billy Joe Fortner and Mary Hennessee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moments Funeral Home (7158 MS-63, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
