It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ollie Dee Boykin Sr. of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Cornell Boykin and Irene Davis; his stepfather Wilson Davis; and his brothers, Bobby Davis and Faron Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his children, Karla Richardson and Dee Boykin (Janet); his grandchildren, Kain, Kaelen, Ollia and Lauren; and his siblings, Max Boykin, Randall Davis, Eddie Davis and Betty Napp (Clyde). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
