With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph Nayland Brown (Lucedale, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his former wife Frances Ann Brown; his son Roland Kyle Brown; his parents, Grady C. Brown and Evelyn Stringer Brown; and his brothers, Wayne Brown and Harold Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Davis Brown; his daughters, Sandra Zumbro, Karen Brown and Glenda Wright; his grandchildren, Lillie Megan Maximo, Sean Wright and Sarah Yankech; his great grandchildren, Felix Maximo and Joaquim Maximo; his stepchildren, William Davis, Karen Fili, Judith Palmertree, Connie Hilbun and Ben Steele; and his siblings, Sylvia Counselman, E. B. Brown and Marilyn Bounds. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
