It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Virginia Mumme of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Maude Clements and Donald Clements; her husband Amos Mumme; her children, Larry Mumme, William "BIlly" Mumme, Lisa Mumme and Joan Chance; her granddaughter Michelle McDonald; and her siblings, Martha Sanders, Alma Jean Malone, Donna "Bootsie" Howle, Maudie Finlay, James "Jimmy" Sanders and Barnie Howle.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sheryl Fairley (Tommy Joe) and Linda Williamson; and her grandchildren, Eric O'Rourke (Jennifer), Jeremy O'Rourke (Jennifer), Joshua Childree (Georgia), Jason Chance (Wavie) and Jessica Osbon (Kennley). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.
